You’ve seen the TikTok edits. You’ve read the heated Reddit threads where people argue until they’re blue in the face about power scaling. But if we’re looking at the cold, hard facts of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, the answer to "does Geto have a Domain Expansion" is a lot more complicated than a simple yes or no.
Honestly, it's a bit of a mess. Suguru Geto is a Special Grade sorcerer, a title reserved for the literal monsters of the jujutsu world who can overthrow entire nations. Every other Special Grade we’ve seen—Gojo, Yuki Tsukumo, Yuta Okkotsu—has a Domain. So why did Geto die without ever popping one on screen?
The JJK 0 Problem
The real-world reason is actually pretty boring. When Gege Akutami wrote Jujutsu Kaisen 0, the concept of "Domain Expansion" didn't even exist yet. It hadn't been invented. In that early version of the story, Geto’s ultimate move was Maximum: Uzumaki.
Because the power system wasn't fully cooked, Geto fought Yuta and Rika using just his cursed spirits and hand-to-hand combat. From a narrative standpoint, he lost because he didn't have a Domain to counter whatever Yuta was throwing. If he had one, the "Night Parade of a Hundred Demons" would have ended very differently.
But fans hate "because the author hadn't thought of it yet" as an answer. We want lore.
Womb Profusion: Is it Geto's or Kenjaku's?
This is where things get spicy. During the Culling Games, the ancient sorcerer Kenjaku—who is piloting Geto’s corpse like a stolen Honda—unleashes a terrifying Domain called Womb Profusion (Gashadokuro).
It looks like a nightmare: a giant, grotesque pillar made of distorted faces and pregnant torsos. Since Kenjaku is using Geto's body and his Cursed Spirit Manipulation technique, many fans believe Womb Profusion is actually Geto’s innate domain that he just never learned to manifest while he was alive.
There's some heavy evidence for this:
- The Yuta Parallel: When Yuta took over Gojo's body later in the manga, he used Unlimited Void, not his own domain. This suggests that the body (and the brain) dictates what Domain comes out.
- The Visuals: The domain is literally a tower of cursed-looking imagery. It fits the "curse" theme of Geto way more than it fits Kenjaku’s "brain hopping" theme.
- The Complexity: Kenjaku is a barrier master. Even if Geto had the "blueprint" for a domain in his soul, he might have lacked the 1,000 years of experience needed to actually build the barrier. Kenjaku just took Geto's raw potential and turned it into an open-barrier masterpiece.
Why Geto Never Used It
If we assume Womb Profusion is Geto's domain, why didn't he use it against Toji or Yuta?
Toji is easy: Geto was a cocky teenager. He thought his Rainbow Dragon and Kuchisake-Onna were enough. By the time he realized Toji was a freak of nature, he was already bleeding out on the floor.
The Yuta fight is different. Some theorists argue that Geto’s soul was too fragmented or that he hadn't reached the "enlightenment" necessary to pull off a Domain. Remember, Gojo only figured out the core of cursed energy after almost dying. Geto, despite his talent, spent his final years spiraling into hatred, which might have blocked his growth.
The Verdict
Technically, Suguru Geto does not have a confirmed Domain Expansion in the official canon while he was alive. He died before the series even established what a Domain was.
However, Kenjaku’s use of Womb Profusion is almost certainly the "what-if" version of Geto's power. It’s the peak of Cursed Spirit Manipulation. If Geto had lived long enough to truly master his technique, he likely would have summoned that same pillar of corpses to crush his enemies.
What You Should Do Next
If you're trying to win an argument about Geto's power level, look into Maximum: Uzumaki instead. It’s his actual confirmed peak move. Most people forget that Uzumaki allows Geto to "extract" the cursed techniques of Grade 1 or Special Grade spirits.
Go back and re-read the Hidden Inventory arc. Pay close attention to how Geto uses his spirits as shields and distractions. It's clear that even without a Domain, his tactical mind was his real "Special Grade" attribute. If you really want to see what a "Geto Domain" would look like in action, watch the Kenjaku vs. Yuki fight in the anime—it’s the closest we’ll ever get.
